Daily maintenance and management of hardware stamping dies.

During the use of stamping dies, natural wear and tear of die parts, unreasonable manufacturing processes, improper installation or use on the machine, and equipment failures can all cause the main components of the die to lose their original performance and accuracy. This deteriorates the technical state of the die, affects normal production efficiency and product quality. Therefore, proper maintenance is necessary to extend the service life of the stamping dies. There are three stages of daily maintenance to consider:

Preparations before using the stamping dies: Clean and maintain the surface of the dies before installation to ensure that the installation surface and press workbench are not damaged, and check all fasteners for abnormalities.

Maintenance during the use of stamping dies: Regularly lubricate all sliding parts of the dies to prevent surface wear caused by rough handling, and pay attention to the operation status of the dies. Stop immediately for inspection if any abnormality is found.

Disassembly after using the stamping dies: After use, follow the correct operating procedures to remove the dies from the press, and do not disassemble recklessly. After disassembly, wipe the dies clean and apply oil to prevent rust.
