Four Metal Processes, Under One Roof

Most contract manufacturers run one or two processes and subcontract the rest. Pengfeng runs sheet metal, stamping, deep drawing and CNC in-house — plus welding, finishing and assembly. One drawing in, one shipped part out.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

From a flat sheet to a finished, welded, assembled enclosure. Our laser and plasma cutters handle up to 12mm steel and 20mm aluminium; our press brakes form, and our welders join — TIG, MIG, laser and spot.

0.5–12mm steel up to 20mm aluminium ±0.10mm laser cut 3,000mm max bend length 4 welding processes
  • 2D flat parts, boxes, brackets and enclosures — cut, bent, welded and deburred
  • Hardware insertion — PEM studs, rivnuts, heat-set inserts, pressed-in bushings
  • Welding — TIG, MIG, laser and spot, with leak testing on sealed assemblies
  • Finishing — deburr, bead blast, powder coat, anodize, silk screen

Precision Stamping

The workhorse for high-volume flat parts. Our press shop runs single-cavity, progressive and compound dies from 25 to 400 tonnes. With 5,000+ dies in house we rarely have a lead-time problem — and an 18-minute changeover keeps rush orders from becoming a crisis.

0.1–10mm thickness 25–400T press range ±0.05mm repeatability 5,000+ dies 18 min changeover
  • Single-cavity dies — fast turnarounds for prototypes and low volume
  • Progressive dies — pierce, form and cut in one stroke for very high volume
  • Compound dies — two-level forming where geometry demands it
  • In-house die shop — design, build, harden and maintain tooling under one roof

Deep Drawing

For hollow parts — from a shallow 8mm pan to a 300mm appliance drum. We run single-draw and multi-step drawing with hydraulic presses up to 400T, with tooling designed and built in-house so the wall-thickness progression stays inside your tolerance.

up to 300mm diameter up to 400T hydraulic Multi-step up to 6 draws ±0.10mm on Ø 0.3mm min wall
  • Single-draw parts — one-step cups, pans and shells
  • Multi-step drawing — up to six draw stages for deep cylinders and drums
  • Necking and flanging — stepped diameters in a controlled sequence
  • Lubrication and blank-holder control — the difference between a good wall and a torn one

CNC Machining

When tolerances get tighter than stamping can hold, we machine it. Our milling floor covers 3, 4 and 5-axis work up to 1,300×700×600mm, plus CNC turning for round components. Ideal for aluminium housings that need both a drawn shell and machined features.

3/4/5-axis milling CNC turning ±0.02mm achievable 1300×700×600 envelope Ra 0.4 finish
  • 3-axis milling — prismatic parts, pockets, faces and drilling
  • 4-axis milling — indexed rotation for circular features
  • 5-axis machining — complex geometry in one setup, no re-fixturing
  • CNC turning — round stock parts, shafts, bushings and spacers

Assembly & Kitting

A machined part that arrives in a box with nothing else is not a deliverable — it is homework. We build mechanical, electrical and pneumatic sub-assemblies, then kit them with the screws, gaskets, labels and inserts your assembly line needs.

Mechanical assembly Pneumatic fitting Electrical wiring Kitting to BOM Labeling & barcodes
  • Sub-assembly — solder, crimp, press-fit and torque-controlled fastening
  • Kitting — every part bagged and labelled to your BOM
  • Functional testing — leak, torque and fit checks before packing

How It Works

From Drawing to Delivery in Four Steps

The same sequence whether you order one prototype or 500,000 pieces.

01

Drawing Review

Tolerances, wall thickness, draft and manufacturability — checked free, same day.

02

Tooling & Sample

Die or fixture built in house. First article inspected before anything else runs.

03

Production

Batch runs with in-process SPC, heat-number traceability and mid-run reviews.

04

Inspect & Ship

CMM verification, report attached, export packing and door-to-door delivery.
